Welcome
2009 will be a special year for LET Conference delegates. Besides offering a more exciting programme for water experts and researchers from all over the world, IWA has teamed up with PUB, Singapore’s national water agency, to co-locate the LET Conference at the Singapore International Water Week 2009 in Suntec Convention Centre, Singapore. In June 2008, more than 8,500 delegates and trade visitors from 73 countries attended the inaugural Water Week to address challenges, showcase technologies, discover opportunities and celebrate achievements in the water world. For 2009, the theme will be “Sustainable Cities – Infrastructure and Technologies for Water”. LET Conference delegates can therefore look forward to enjoying greater networking opportunities with a diversified group of participants including top government officials and industry leaders, and benefiting from a wider spectrum of trade activities.
